Let approved supporters see progress without turning them into staff users.
Guardian and corporate-manager views are intentionally narrow companion portals. They use observer links to show only the learner information an academy has explicitly allowed.
Observer links
Authorized enrollment staff create a link between an observer and a learner inside the same academy. The relationship is either guardian or corporate_manager. One observer can have multiple permitted learners; links can be deactivated without deleting learner history.

What observers can see

- No cohort management, delegated lesson completion, manager approvals, or corporate invoicing domain.
- No access to unrelated learners, academy operations, private staff notes, or protected files.
- No calendar mutation through companion views.
The companion entry point is student.companion.index. It remains protected by authentication, learning-role visibility, the observer relationship, and underlying course/enrollment scope.
