Operations FAQ
Fast answers for setup and day-to-day LearnX operations. Follow the linked full guide whenever a change affects production data or access.
Where are release flags documented?
Use the operations runbook. LMS_UI_V2 is the global presentation rollback, while route-group flags control individual product releases.
How do I verify a release?
Run migrations, compiled Blade views, the production Vite build, the full test suite, and targeted admin, teacher, learner, mobile, queue, scheduler, and cross-academy checks before enabling a route group.
Why is a course hidden from a learner?
Check academy membership, course publication state, enrollment, cohort or prerequisite rules, lesson release timing, role permissions, and whether the learner is viewing the correct academy.
Why can a learner not start or submit an assessment?
Verify the availability window, attempt limit, enrollment, assigned cohort, server timezone, question availability, and assessment status. Preserve an in-progress attempt before changing exam rules.
Why is a certificate missing?
Confirm completion and passing rules, required lessons or assessments, certificate template state, issue job status, and learner identity. Use the public verification flow after issuance.
Why are invitations, OTPs, or reminders delayed?
Send a test message, check queue workers and scheduler, inspect failed jobs and provider logs, verify From-domain authentication, and confirm the recipient is not suppressed. An in-app event is not proof of email delivery.
What should I check before enabling AI tutoring?
Configure the provider and model, set academy-level availability and cost limits, test safe fallback behavior, confirm audit logging, and make clear to learners when content is AI-assisted.
What should a support report include?
Include the academy, role, route, record ID, timestamp and timezone, safe reproduction steps, expected and actual behavior, recent release, and relevant log or job ID. Never include passwords, tokens, payment data, or private learner submissions.
