Notifications & Activity

Notifications keep users aware of assigned work, ticket events, approvals, security events, and system activity. Activity logs provide auditable records for sensitive or important operations.

Notification Inbox

  • /notifications lists user notifications.
  • /notifications/dropdown refreshes navbar notifications.
  • Users with permission can mark all as read, mark one as read, or mark one as unread.
  • Notification access requires view notifications; management actions require manage notifications.

Activity Logs

/notifications/activity-logs lists reusable activity log records. Activity logs track ticket setup changes, organization changes, status updates, API client changes, status page updates, security actions, and other sensitive operations. Viewing logs requires view activity logs.

Audit Detail

Activity logs can include subject, causer, action URL, event key, module, title, description, properties, IP address, and user agent. API client actions include client ID, name, route name, request method, and path.

Delivery Logs

Operational delivery logs are shown in the Operations Center. They summarize outbound mail and channel results, status, subject, address, response excerpts, and driver details.

Best Practices

  • Use notifications for work routing, approvals, and security-sensitive events.
  • Use activity logs for audit trails and admin review.
  • Keep activity log access limited because logs can include security and customer context.
  • Check Operations Center when notifications or email delivery appear delayed.
